Good Luck to USA Finalist in the Creative Business Cup

Yesterday marked the start of the three day finals of the Creative Business Cup (CBC) in Copenhagen. The CBC is an international competition for entrepreneurs from the creative industries.

Finalists from almost 40 countries are participating in the event to compete for prizes worth over $100,000 including two entries to the SoftLayer Catalyst Startup Program and a VIP experience at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) in Moscow in March 2014.

A full lists of finalist who are competing in the CBC can be found on the website but the USA finalist this year is Zero Gravity Creations, a design company, based in Baltimore, MD, focusing on the fusion of glass and metal. Their patent pending Magmabond technology and invention of the PermaBulb LED lighting system serves as an elegant solution to LED lighting.

Following the opening ceremony yesterday, today will be "Pitching Day" for the competitors where they will engage in parallel pitching sessions and various investor workshops. The Cup will close on Wednesday, with the semifinals in the morning and the Global Award Show in the afternoon where the winner will be announced.
