GEW Booms in Texas with the Help of The Dallas Entrepreneur Center

GEW has officially kicked off in Texas! This year, various Chambers of Commerce, Universities, Colleges and resource centers have planned events to bring a full week of activities to various communities throughout the state.

Texas' most active partner, The Dallas Entrepreneur Center (The DEC) has planned a number of events, including a four-day "Open Investor Office Hours" event where entrepreneurs have a chance to talk with some of Dallas’ finest VC’s and angel groups that have experience working with new, growing companies. Also, they will be hosting a 1 Million Cups Dallas event, where two local entrepreneurs have the opportunity to present their startups to a diverse audience of mentors, advisors, and entrepreneurs.
