Whatcom County: Local Food Sourcing for Restaurants – Best Practices Workshop
This event relates to our ‘start up’ work with farmers, the only real start up work we actively do. Since 2003, Food To Bank On has helped 35 new farms with business planning and mentoring, 80% of which are still running viable farms. This is truly a small business start up success story. In addition, this program has generated over $70,000 worth of fresh, local food donations for local food banks and soup kitchens.
