Demo Companies:

KeyMe:

KeyMe lets you scan keys from your phone.  Whether you’re locked out and need a key immediately or you’re moving and want copies, KeyMe can help you get spares.  KeyMe is backed by investors including Battery Ventures, the founder of Coinstar, and the co-founder of Virgin Mobile USA.

ThinkEco:

New York City-based ThinkEco, Inc. is a leading provider of cloud-based energy efficiency (EE) and demand response (DR) solutions. To enable connectivity to multiple load types, ThinkEco offers a patented technology platform with intelligent algorithms and attractive customer user interface that technology partners and utilities can integrate with. The company also markets a suite of its own energy-saving products to help make EE and DR more intuitive for end users, including the modlet® and modlet smartAC.

Grand St.:

Grand St. is a curated shop for creative technology. They hand pick, test, and highlight well-designed, delightful hardware from independent producers, featuring one new selection every other day. With stunning pictures and product stories created in-house by their discerning, device-obsessed team, they help you experience new technology that improves your life.

Canary:

Canary is a New York-based company that recently raised $1.96 million on Indiegogo, making it the most successfully funded project in the site's history. Canary is the first smart home security device for everyone – controlled entirely from your smartphone. It is a single device that contains an HD video camera and multiple sensors that track everything from motion, temperature and air quality to vibration, sound, and activity to help keep you, your family and your home safe. Canary alerts you when it senses anything out of the ordinary — from sudden temperature changes that can indicate a fire, to the sound and movement that could mean an intrusion. Over time, the device learns your home’s rhythms to send you smarter alerts.

Karma:

Karma began with one simple idea: everyone should be able to get online, everywhere they go. The Karma Hotspot introduces the first peer-to-peer WiFi device that allows you to share access to the Internet, but pay for your own personal data. With Karma, you pay-as-you-go, no contacts or subscriptions, and earn free data when you share. The more you share your Karma connection, the more free data you earn. You're generous, we're generous, and soon the whole world is feeling better about WiFi.
