Sean Connolly, cofounder of neighbor.ly, explains crowdfunding on Nov 22

Crowdfunding is one of the most talked about trends in the country, but what is it?

Crowdfunding has become an internet sensation used to successfully raise money for new businesses, launch art projects, and fund civic improvements. Sean will present a general overview of Crowdfunding and the most popular platforms such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and neighbor.ly, with a couple of success stories thrown in. We've also asked him to give us a specific segment highlighting the civic improvement possibilities along with all the other uses of Crowdfunding.

In recognition of Global Entrepreneurship Week this event is free, but space is limited and registration is required.
